The tail extensions at Finishing Touch Tails are 100% natural horse hair and will make a dramatic difference to a horse's existing tail by adding length and volume for that polished look that all exhibitors are looking for. We carry 15-stocked colors. AQHA, NSBA, APHA and PHBA legal. Easy to attach and remove (instructions available).

We will strive to do our best to make sure you get the exact tail you are looking for.

You may send us a sample of your horses tail and we will match it at no additional charge. $8.00 flat rate for shipping anywhere in the US. Add an additional $2.00 per tail after 1st tail. All orders will be sent USPS Priority unless otherwise specified. Please allow 5-7 days for delivery. If you would like your tail sent overnight a flat rate of $25.00 will apply. All orders are processed Monday through Friday, except on holidays. If we don't have a specific tail extension in stock we will notify you by email within 24 hours of purchase and let you know how long it will take. 

Add an additional $5.00 per tail after 1st. tail.


If you receive your tail and it does not match, simply return the tail extension to us with a sample of your horses tail hair and we will match it and send you a new tail extension.  Shipping charges apply. When taking sample hair remove the hair from the center bottom of the tail bone. Be sure to collect enough hair for us to get a good idea of the true color. (15 to 20 hairs is plenty)

If at anytime the attachment breaks due to the horse stepping on the tail extension you may send us the tail extension back and we will repair it at not additional cost. Shipping charges apply.

We know you will love these tails so much that if you are not completely satisfied you may return the tail for a full refund. (Restrictions apply.)

These tail carriers hold 1-4 tail extensions. They come in 4 colors, Red, Blue (royal), Black and Hunter Green. With 2 Quick Release Buckles inside and a zipper from top to bottom, makes storing your tail extensions quick, easy and very accessible.
